Swap night raises almost £700 for VisPa!

On Thursday 24th July a throng of ladies from the Ballymena area gathered at Cullybackey High School to swap clothes that they no longer wear for someone else’s lovely dress, shirt, shoes or jewellery. There was tea, cake, clothes and a good night was had by all!

Donations from the night amounted to almost £700 and perhaps most importantly, many of these ladies heard about the wonderful work of VisPa for the very first time. This money will go towards new clothes, school uniforms and shoes for the boys and girls at VisPa. We will hopefully have photos of these new clothes and shoes to show you all very soon!

There were some items of clothing left over on the evening. Anything that is suitable will be taken to the ladies and children in Kenya when the team heads out this Friday 8th August.

Here is a short video of the boys and girls from VisPa that was shown that evening.

We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along, swapped, donated, signed up and helped us to organise and decorate the hall that night!
