In Nyanza Province where VisPa is situated, 14% of the local population are suffering from HIV or AIDS. This is double the national average of Kenya.
Many of the children and young people that come to VisPa have lost one or both parents to this tragic disease. This makes it so important that our boys and girls learn about what AIDS is and how to protect themselves from it.
In this video Siobhan from Primary Class 5 recites a poem about the dangers of AIDS and how we should “stand tall” against it.
