Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania is one of the world’s highest free-standing mountains, standing at an impressive 19,341ft.
On Monday, husband and wife duo, Philip and Beth Diamond, commenced their 8 day trek up Kilimanjaro in support of Friends of VisPa.
Beth and Philip hope to update us on their progress as often as possible so keep checking here or on the Friends of VisPa facebook page for news.
So far Philip has commented, “We had a great day seeing around Moshi, the local town with one of the local guys guiding us. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Very warm though, about 32 degrees“.
